Established in late 2014, NextGeo is recognised as a leading player in its field providing high quality, cost-efficient solutions covering the entire life cycle of assets and projects, from their initial conception at design stage, throughout engineering, installation, inspection and maintenance, up to decommissioning.
With a fleet of 15 state-of-the-art DP class 1 and 2 vessels and a multi-national blend of over 200 skilled and experienced professionals (our biggest asset), NextGeo offers a variety of services from specialised consultancy to marine geophysical, geotechnical, environmental and archaeological surveying, and from UXO survey, removal and relocation to offshore construction support services.

Ultimately, we aim to offer our specialised contribution to the realisation of the key marine energy assets and infrastructures that fall within our geographical footprint and professional capabilities.
Our dream is to see a world where a safe, efficient, affordable, and sustainable energy supply is fairly and peacefully accessible across the entire globe. Our visionary plan is to become one of the largest and most excellent international marine survey companies, thus making an impact and playing a significant role in making this dream reality.
ABOUT US
OUR HISTORY
Next Geosolutions (NextGeo) originated from a joint venture between successful Italian entrepreneurs and a close-knit group of experienced executives.
The shareholding structure is composed of the Marnavi Group, a major Italian ship-owner operating globally in the offshore oil and gas industry, and the management team running the company.
Since the beginning, the operational headquarters of the company was set up in Naples, Italy, where it remains.
Subsequently, to enhance the group growth, footprint, and capabilities, a second large operational base was established in Norwich, United Kingdom. NextGeo has since become one of the fastest growing international marine survey contractors and offshore construction support service providers and is recognised as a leading player in its field.
Thanks to the competence, experience and reputation of its people, and the high quality and efficiency of its naval and technical assets, despite its relatively recent establishment, NextGeo has been successfully involved in the accomplishment of most major energy infrastructure projects of the EMEA region.
In 2020, to support a vast offshore wind farm development plan in the eastern sector of the North Sea, NextGeo established a new base in The Netherlands with operational premises in IJmuiden.
